Hoping someday someone will see it
Hoping someday someone might just steal it
You've been hoping for so long
Everyday seems a little more hopeless than the last
Though it never stops you from hoping someday those days will no longer be
So you wear your heart hopelessly on your sleeve

Hoping someday someone might just tell you they need it

Though it never stoped you from hoping someday those days will no longer be
Now on your sleeve you no longer have to show it
Now your heart belongs to the one that's been searching for it
Now no longer hopeless
This kind of thing is new
But you know it's something you could get use to
You're fresh out of "hopless" now so full of "hope"

These are my words, word in which are a part of my very heart, soul, and mind, and taking them without my permission would be like stealing a little piece of me, so please don't. (Plus it'd be quite illegal! Just save yourself the trouble!)

The title represents how I used "hope" "hopeless" and "hopelessly" through out the poem, because without hope in a relationship it's doomed from the start, you can't build anything on being hopeless.
The poem its self I wanted to represent someone who had been searching long and hard for that special someone, but they wore their hear on their sleeve to increase their chances, but still much time passed bringing about a cloud of hopelessness, but still there remained that glimmer of hope tucked away inside their heart, and as it turns out that hope paid off and a relationship was found, though still new it's full of hope.
